DynaVap WoodWynd

Arguably one of DynaVpa's most beautiful dry herb extraction devices yet. The WoodWynd features the stunning Titanium Helix Tip, a completely new Titanium Helix Mouthpiece and XL Condenser and of course that eye catching Wood Stem. DynaVap have opted for a more understated design with this wood stem which really lets the wood shine for what it is. The thinnest part of the wood stem is right at the airport making it extremely easy to locate. The smooth feel of the wood adds a layer of comfort to the feel of the WoodWynd.

Features

  • DynaVap Helix Tip: The Helix Tip is constructed out of Titanium, featuring a triple helix design with 3 convection ports which are located on the side of the chamber. This is DynaVap's lightest tip they have so far created yet has thicker walls than other titanium tips. This adds to its ability to hold heat for longer periods which means you will be up to vaporizing temperature for longer with each heat cycle.
  • Adjust-A-Bowl: This is a feature of the tip itself. There are 2 positions where the CCD screen can be positioned. One position being full and the other gives you a half bowl size. To adjust the size of your bowl from full to half. Use the included condenser to push it up into the half bowl slot by inserting the condenser tube up through the bottom of the tip. This is done with the tip removed from the stem. Be sure to rest your finger on top of the tip while adjusting so your CCD doesn't go flying across the room. To move the CCD screen from half to full simply push it back down using the condenser. Keep in mind, constant adjustment often reduces the life of a CCD.
  • WoodWynd Condenser & Mouthpiece: Constructed entirely out of titanium and 2 High Temp O-Rings. The WoodWynd Condenser and Mouthpiece are seperate pieces that click together using no o-rings to hold it in place. The WoodWynd Mouthpiece will also allow connection to 10mm female joints.
  • The WoodWynd Stem: This ergonomic design is currently constructed out of Padauk wood. And uses stainless steel crowns to support and protect the wood. The use of stainless steel crowns also ensures a consistent fit with both the tip and mouthpiece.
  • Captive Cap: A standard now for most Dynavap's is the Captive Cap. This is constructed out of medical grade stainless steel and is where a lot of the magic happens. And every DynaVap cap lives 2 heat sensitive plates which will click once they reach a certain temperature. You will find the clicks happen one after the other and never at the same time. While the plates do click at a consistent temperature you are still able to achieve a wide range of temperatures by the method you use to heat the cap. The clicks purpose is to help you achieve constant results at around what ever temperature affect you are aiming for.

Why Choose DynaVap

  • Durability: Given that the WoodWynd has no electrical components. With care it can last a lifetime. At some point you may need to replace a High Temp O-Ring or two or maybe a CCD screen. But you can bet if you pull your DynaVap out of your draw while sitting back at a retirement village. It will be ready to roll.
  • Extremely Efficient: Dynavap is the sort of device that basically pays for itself due to the amount of herb you save compared to other devices. It is certainly more efficient than combustion but it is also more efficient than most other dry herb vaporizers on the market. It really is amazing how much affect you get from such a little amount of herb when using a device like DynaVap's WoodWynd.
  • All You Need Is A Heat Source: This can be anything from a basic Bic Lighter to a fang dangle Induction Heater. Even a candle will do if need be. But in general best results are found using Jet Lighters or Induction Heaters.
  • Flavour At Your Fingertips: DynaVap has the ability to really make your herbs flavour shine. When chasing a more flavoursome experience a faster heat up is usually best.
  •  You Play A Huge Roll In The End Result: There is some general instruction to follow when using any DynaVap. But at the end of the day you usually end up with your own variation on how you like to use the WoodWynd. Don't get too hung up on trying to exactly copy another persons technique. Use other examples as a guide to find that perfect technique for how you like your vapour. DynaVap's WoodWynd will rip hard if you want or if you prefer a more whispy flavoursome vapour, the option is there for you too. And of course everything in between. The WoodWynd is for sure a device to experiment with.

Below Are DynaVap's Instructions On Use

  • Remove the Cap
  • Load your dry herb into the Tip chamber/bowl
  • Place the Cap back on the Tip
  • Heat the Cap with a torch or Induction Heater until it Clicks (this takes ~5-7 seconds)
  • Inhale from the mouthpiece end
  • The Cap will click again when it has cooled down
  • You can either
    • Heat your Cap up again for more extraction
    • Save your ABV or later uses (if your bud is done)
    • Store your vaporizer for the next session

The above instruction that DynaVap provide is a great place to start. But if you are new to DynaVap it will take a bit of trial and error to really dial in your technique. Things you will need to experiment with are the use of the airport, type of heat source and how intense that source is. And of course your inhale rate. You will very likely get affective results straight out of the gate. But with some time it will only get better as you really figure out this system.
